How long does it take to build a new home?
Depending on several factors, our homes typically take anywhere from 5 to 8 months to build.
How does the financing work?
When building on land we own, potential homeowners must obtain a pre-approval from a lender. Unbridled Homes partners with local lender River City Bank, because they are familiar with the process of purchasing new construction. Once you have pre-approval, a $5,000 non-refundable deposit is required. Unbridled Homes will handle all construction financing throughout the entire building process. Once your home is completed, it’s time to schedule a closing! You’ll bring your down payment and any other closing costs, sign the mortgage and take possession of the deed. Your first payment will typically be made 30-45 days after closing.
When building on land you are purchasing or already own, potential homeowners will obtain construction financing. Unbridled Homes partners with local lender River City Bank, because they are familiar with the process of purchasing new construction. Unbridled Homes will request periodic draws from your lender at various stages throughout the construction of your new home. Once your home is complete, the construction financing may convert to permanent financing or your Lender may schedule an additional closing for your permanent financing.
Can I make changes to one of your house plans?
Absolutely! If you have selected one of our home plans and wish to make changes, our draftsman will make revisions in order to customize our home plan to one that is more suited to your lifestyle.
I have a custom plan already, will Unbridled Homes use my plan?
Yes! We can work with plans you’ve found online. We can also design a home plan specifically for you. We will review your plans and provide a detailed quote so you know exactly what to expect.
